Finland Leads Global Happiness Ranking for Eighth Year Running
Finland has once again topped the global happiness rankings, reaffirming its position as the world’s happiest country. The report, based on self-reported life evaluations, credited social trust and strong welfare systems as key factors. While Nordic countries continued to dominate, Costa Rica and Mexico made significant strides into the top 10.

In contrast, the UK and US dropped to record-low rankings. Researchers also found that people are kinder than they believe, with trust in strangers playing a bigger role in happiness than previously thought.
