Trump Strips Security Access from Political Rivals and Prosecutors
President Trump has ordered the revocation of security clearances for dozens of individuals, including Vice President Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and officials in the Biden administration. He also targeted prosecutors who’ve led cases against him, such as New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.
Trump’s order bans these individuals from classified briefings and secure government sites. Among those affected are also whistleblowers and ex-Republican lawmakers Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.
Critics argue the move is retaliatory. Some on the list say they haven’t held active clearance in years, calling the decision meaningless.
